S took Allie on a date tonight - a YMCA sponsored Father/Daughter Date night.
The event included a staged photo-op complete with glitter/metallic tassles (I will scan and share once we have them), a chicken/steak dinner, princess trivia (What does the "I" in Icarly stand for?), a disco ball, and plenty of dancing.
I lived vicariously through Allie tonight as I was getting her ready. My inner beautician came out as we painted nails, blew dry/flat ironed/braided her hair, and put on her fancy dress.
Apparently a little girl came up to Allie tonight asking her if she was Repunzel. Cute, considering Allie LOVES her some Repunzel and is currently growing her hair out to be just like hers. (Allie said she wants her hair to be long enough to take up the entire bathtub).
What completes a date night more than roses???
I hear the two had a blast dancing to three songs (Jailhouse rock, YMCA, Greese Lightening) before Allie was ready to go home and snuggle with her white blankie.

What a beautiful little girl and her handsome Daddy!! That is the sweetest thing! I'm so proud she has a hands on Dad! Wish I could have been a fly on the wall to have seen their night out!! Would love to have seen video of the dancing!!
