S and I completed our 10K (6.2 miles) this past weekend. 53:46.
I slowed S down. He could have finished sub 50 but, upheld his promise and stayed with me until the finish line. I honestly can't say I would have finished when I did if it were not for my drill sergeant for the day yelling at me to pick up the pace.
Also crossing the finish line with us were the two yahoos wearing hula skirts whose goal was to polish off a beer a mile.
This picture of our family on the beach sums up the temps during our stay in Charleston. Chilly! But we had an amazing time. I LOVED Charleston....wouldn't mind moving there!
