Braham Springs Park

We all took a trip up to Braham Springs Park yesterday for a picnic and trip down memory lane.

My brother and I made many trips up to this same park with Grandma Dot when we were Allie and Gabe's age...she used to live right down the road.

I have so many wonderful memories with my Grandma. One of my favorite was brushing her dentures. As a kid, I thought it was the greatest thing since popsicles. It was around the same age (4ish) when I aspired to be a beautician and spent hours upon hours placing rollers in Grandma's hair. Ben and I would also make a fort by turning every peice of furniture upside down and draping blankets across them.

I could go on and on.....

My aunt Myra is in town from California....she has been here visiting her little sis and momma for about a month now.

It's been so nice having her around this week while we have been home visiting.
