Before & After

It happens more than I would like to admit; a sequence of photos that my camera's settings were off. Now if I didn't shoot in manual I would try to blame the camera itself....but this, this is my fault.

However, I like to experiment with photos that sooc were all wrong, just to see if they can be saved.

Not that I particularly like this photo (nothing against the cute subject, just not a great shot)....but again, I wanted to see if I could spruce it up to usable in photoshop.

Above is sooc. The exposure is all wrong and I apparently forgot to adjust the white balance with the fading sun...poor Isabella appears purple.

Here is my edit after I warmed the photo, lightened levels, sharpened, cropped, and gave a slight edge burn. Not bad considering what I started with.

I always like to see other photographers sooc vs. editted. It makes me realize I'm not the only one out there who doesn't always nail my camera settings.

So, if you take a not so great photo....you never know what it could be with a little photoshop help.
