Izzy is not well.
It has been over 2 months now since she has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Honestly, I didn't expect her to hang around this long. Dogs without chemo will typically live 2 months with this type of cancer.
I can tell it is time.
Her fight with lymphoma will be coming to an end on Saturday morning. We have an appointment set up....and I don't expect her to be coming back home.
Below is a pic of Izzy I took his morning.. Notice her swollen lymph nodes around her neck. This is not normal. She just doesn't even look like herself anymore.
I have loved this little dog for the 7 years she has been part of our family.
Izzy....you will be missed.

You have all been great family to this little pound puppy! She has had a wonderful time with you all as her family! She has been loved by all, and treated like a little queen. We will all miss her, but we are fortunate to have had her around these 7 years!! Kiss her nose and scratch her ears for me!! Love you!!!
She is part of the family...she will be missed. Imagine how dull your newly married life would have been without Izzy's antics? You gave each other 7 good years and she is leaving you with as many years worth of memories. I will never forget the first time I witnissed her talent for escape. She was 3 blocks away before I got my head around the fact that she was gone. That little girl could run!
I am so sorry, B. What fun times you have all had. God wouldn't forget His animals; now she can have all the dinosaur cake she could ever want. Love to your family.
This is truly a sad time for you. It is good that you have so many wonderful memories and pictures. Izzy looks like a neat dog.

Izzz you will be missed. I think the closest I have come to a heart attack was trying to find her in the marshes down at the Gulf when she got loose on my watch. My legs were bleeding from the thorns I had walked through and my shirt was wet with sweat as I walked back in the house without her. I knew she had been lunch for an alligator but five minutes later her she comesin the house wet with sweat also after her adventure.
I will miss her,
