Allie made my day....my week...my year....by telling me last week (not prompted), "Mom, you are a good mom".
I told her I will remind her of that when she is 14. I think I'll try to get it on video before she changes her mind.
I can also see her really stepping up in her big sister role. She takes care of Gabe, and it is so cute to witness.
I've been told at church during big group movie time when they have popcorn, Allie will break apart popcorn pieces and give them to Gabe.
Tonight, S and I were eating dinner and the kids were outside eating push up popsicles. Gabe was having trouble with his staying pushed up and she kept pushing it up for him.
If she gets herself a snack out of the pantry, she always gets one for Gabe too.
It's the little things...but they make me smile.
Her kind gestures make this one smile too.
We love our Allie.
