Good to be home

We are home from the hospital and doing well.

For those of you who haven't heard....I had....have....getting over a pretty nasty virus. It started Saturday night and I just was not feeling well. Then around 10:00 pm it started. I started getting sick and continued to get sick every 30 minutes all through the night. Then Sunday morning came diareah and fever. I couldn't keep anything down and was absolutely miserable! I have never felt so nauseous. So I called my Dr. early Sunday morning and they told me to go straight to the hospital (not taking any chances being that we are 35 weeks pregnant). They wasted no time admitting me and the nurse made a comment that I was the most severely dehydrated patient she had ever seen. They pumped IV's, antibiotics, fenergan (spelling?...this is for the nausea) through me the past 24 hours. They were also keeping a close eye on the baby. It was pretty scary looking over at the baby's monitor in the hospital and seeing the heart rate spiking to 200. Baby and I are doing SO much better and at home as of 11:00 am today. THANK YOU to all of you who helped us out...our neighbors, Ernie and Joanne kept Allie for us Sunday morning when we rushed off to the hospital until our friend Sarah came to relieve them...and she kept Allie for us until my parents arrived late Sunday afternoon. Most of all, thankyou to my dear husband, Stephen, for being right there beside me every step of the way. I won't go into details....but you know someone really loves you when they are with you at your worst.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

Awww...I am so sorry! I can sympathize with the stomach virus. We have had our fair share of it lately. :( It's scary, though, when your pregnant. I'm so glad your both ok and doing much better. I'm getting excited to find out what this baby is and see pics soon!
