Mother's Day Tea

Allie's school put on the sweetest mother's day tea last week.

As each mom walked into the banquet room, we were greeted by our kiddos holding a personalized corsage (complete with a photo of Allie in the middle). We were then led to the lovely staged photo-op. Then Allie took me over to our table and pulled out my chair for me (so sweet). All the while, piano music is playing in the background. We had punch, strawberries, veggies and cupcakes and listened to the kids perform sweet songs for us moms.

I enjoyed our one on one time together minus busy little bro.

(Thank you to Pappy and Grammy who watched G for me.)

This one gets me.

A) Because I have a small waist. Thank you Allie for that.
B) Because I have a large backside. Again, thank you Allie for that.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this little girl. She likes to hug me at night and wrap her little arms around my neck and say "I'm never letting you go". I only wish!
