Guided Fly Fishing Trip

S and C booked a guided fly fishing day trip through a company called Casters (an Orvis company). Dave, the guy that runs the place, would be their guide for the day. He apparently knows his stuff; he even ties and develops new flies for the company Orvis.

S and C have been anxiously awaiting their guided fly fishing trip. These boys know how to fish, but this time, they had a guide take them to southwestern VA to fish 15miles of private waters and hopefully show them a thing or two.

They got just a little spoiled having Dave around. I understand Dave did all the dirty work while the boys....just fished. They were even prepared a 3 course lunch as they fished the river - homemade salsa and chips, white bean chili, steak.

You will see from some photos below. The boys had a "great day fishing".

I am told 20+ fish (rainbow trout) were caught all at least 20 inches and weighing between 3-4 lbs.
