Maw maw
I'm done.
Uncle Benny
The kids and I had a great visit to AL last week. We got to spend some quality time with my family. Uncle Benny was sweet to go out of his way to spend time with his niece and nephew while we were in town. . Even though brothers can be pesky sometimes (sorry Ben, you know you are), we love you anyway and I thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to hang out with us.
For the record, Allie is scratching just beside her nose. I don't think it's humanly possible to stick a finger that far up a nose.
They both are fascinated by Ben's facial hair (their daddy could never pull off this lush gotee). Okay I have to throw in this picture here....(sorry babe). I think I've posted this pic before, but, honestly....I can't get enough of it.
I call it "Steve". Doesn't he look like a Steve with a mustache? This was taken back in Dec. 08 I think. Stephen thought it would be funny to grow a mustache. Cracks me up every time.
Back to Benny. This was the closest to a normal picture I got of the three of them all behaving.
Allie especially loved playing with Uncle Benny. I even think she talked him into playing Barbies! She is very convincing when those big blue eyes look up at you.

Back on the road again...
But grandma, you have no idea how cute you are!
This was his first go at a popsicle and will not be his last....he loved every last bite.
Next up, Allie.
She only came for the popsicle. Otherwise she would have never cooperated. Bribery works every time.
Hanging out outside at Juju's house before we headed home....

Filling Day
Allie went in to have her 3 cavities filled under sedation this morning. She was very hesitant when the nurse gave her the "juice". She took one sip and realized it was not the juice she was expecting. I will say I was worried 30 minutes after having drank the juice, she was asking me to play chase in the waiting room. BUT, once she was in the chair with Mr. Nose, she fell asleep and let the doctor work on her. She woke up a couple of times fighting, crying and making noises I have never heard her make. Really can't blame her....she was restrained in a straight jacket type deal. Allie freaked out when she realized she was being held down against her will. She said "My hands can't breathe". When we got home she was out until 11:30. She still is more lethargic than normal and is back in bed for her 2nd nap of the day. I am so glad we have this behind us. She was such a brave little girl.
