If you can't say something nice......

I was walking on the treadmill today when this guy comes up that I haven't seen in a few months.

Guy: Wow, you expecting?
Me: Yes.
Guy: It hasn't been that long since I last saw you in here. You got big fast.
Me: Yeah, I guess.
Guy: Is there just one in there?
Me: Yes.
Guy: Are you sure?

I mean, come one....I have heard some bad comments, but that one tops them all. I know I am big, I am pregnant...and will get bigger and prefer to not have random people remind me how great I look right now! So, my advice to those who don't know what to say to pregnant women: If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Zoo Day

It was gorgeous outside today...and we, along with the rest of Greenville, headed out for a day in the sun at the Greenville zoo.

Our friends, Sara and Elizabeth, joined us.
This is Allie and random girl. I felt like everywhere we turned, random girl, was there.

Happy Easter

Easter 08

Easter 08

Allie and her best buddy Canaan.

The Easter egg hunt was immediately following church this morning. They failed to mention, if you stop at the restroom on the way to the hunt, all the eggs will be gone. We missed the egg hunt, but she preferred to play on the playground anyway.

After church we stopped by Grandma Dot's for lunch....McDonalds.

Allie is riding Grandma's walking cane like a horse with Grandma chasing her....

Fun day at Bridgestreet

My Aunt Myra is in town from CA. We went to Bridgestreet today to take Allie to see "Horton Hears a Who". She was definitely more entertainment than the movie. She liked to talk a lot asking questions. At one point she was walking through the aisle between mom, dad and myself saying "Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me". In the movie there was a loud "BANG"...then silence. In the silence Allie yells out "Hear that"?

My excited mom helping Allie hunt easter eggs today. We thought we would give her a trial run today before the big hunt tomorrow.

Instead of putting the eggs in her basket, she would find them and through them back.

The carousel was Allie's favorite part of the day today. We really should have skipped the movie and just let her ride the carousel until she couldnt walk straight....

Waving hello.

Pics from AL

Allie and her great grandma Dot (or maw maw Dot).

Allie has been in heaven this weekend. The weather has been in the 60s and she has been able to play outside quite a bit.

Blowing bubbles with Pop.

Thought I would include our other child....Izzy.
