Thanksgiving Vacation

We went up to PA to spend Thanksgiving with Stephen's family. It is always good to see the Gloviers and Pattons. Allie didn't quite know what to think of all the commotion at first (and this crew is loud!)....she would look at me and say, "noise". We kept ourselves busy on Thanksgiving day with a bowling tournament on the Wii. It was fun, even though I came in last place. Allie did great with pottying while we were away. She is in panties throughout the day and is only wearing a diaper/pull up during her nap and at night. Yay!

A day in Paradise

What a day! We are having a blast and definitely keeping busy here in Marco Island. Allie went on her first boat ride this morning. Surprisingly, she didn't tug on her life jacket too much. Her favorite part was when we went "fast". After naptime we swam. Allie had on swimmies and was able to "do it" all by herself. She would jump off the side of the pool to us, then swim to the stairs. She was so proud of herself and had the hugest grin on her face. The big news of the day is Allie used the potty 5 times today! That is her record thus far, but we will keep working with her. Random cute story, Doug (Pappy) was going to church tonight for a meeting. When we told Allie where he was going, she put her hands together and said "pray". So, I asked her what she wanted to pray for...and she began, "pappy, mommy, grammy, applejuice". Of course, she had to throw that applejuice in there.
