2012 Boardwalk photo

This is my 3rd year to take pics of the kids on this little boardwalk. Check out Boardwalk pics 2010 and Boardwalk pics 2011....its's amazing how much kids can grow in a year. 



It was a wonderful week in Gulf Shores last week of good old fashioned family fun in the sun. 


I was hoping G would have shed his swimmies by the end of the week, but he is making progress swimming.  He can swim to us, no problem, but has not mastered the art of taking a breathe and going back under.

T Family Preview

13.1

S and I completed our first half marathon this past weekend.

13.1 miles in 2 hours 6 minutes.

I told S from the beginning to not try and run with me. My little legs can't keep up with his stride and I didn't want to slow him down (like I did at Cooper River for a 10K). He ran with some friends of ours...he finished right at 2 hours.

My personal goal was to run the entire race without walking, which I did all but the 8 steps I walked while adjusting songs on my iphone. I regret this now.

We had a great race and I look forward to doing it again in Savannah, GA first weekend in NOV. Get ready L...no backing out now!

Thanks A for letting me use your water belt.  It kept me going....and hydrated!

Lastly, thanks C family for coming up and watching our kids for us/and taking G to his tball game. We appreciate you guys!
